  Vishnu (Sanskrit, विष्णु [the omnipresent one]): In Hinduism also known as Narayana, is the Supreme Being in the Trimurti. Vishnu is responsible for the maintenance of the Universe. Vishnu's consort is Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. Vishnu is always to be depicted holding the four attributes associated with him, being a conch shell or Shankhya, named "Panchajanya", the chakra, a sharp-spinning discus-like weapon, named "Sudarshana", a mace or Gada, named "Kaumodaki"and a lotus flower or "Padma".  
  Vajrayana (Sanskrit, वज्रयान): Diamond Path or Diamond Vehicle. Tantric concept of Buddhism.
