  Gada [mace]: Attribute of the Durga and Vishnu.  
  Ganesha (Hindi, गणेश) [Gana-the legions, Isha-Name of Shiva, means: master of Shiva's legions]: God with the head of an elephant. Son of Shiva and Parvati. He is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles and the patron of arts and sciences. Known as Ganapti, Vinayaka or Pillaiyar.  
  Garuda (Sanskrit, गरुड, Pali, Garula): Mythological bird-like creature, the enemy of the Naga and mount of Vishnu.  
  Gupta (Sanskrit, गुप्त): The Gupta empire was ruled by the Gupta dynasty from 320 until 550 A.D. They controlled today's India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. After this dynasty the so-called Gupta style is named which strongly influenced among others the Khmer art.
